IT Security Engineer Location:Irvine, CA (onsite) Contract: 12+ Month Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, In Office Korean bilingual is required for this position Job Description: The TEMP IT Security Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and management of the organization's IT security infrastructure and policies. This role assists in identifying security risks, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations. Korean bilingual is required for this position. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining IT security policies, standards, and proceduresMonitor and analyze security events, logs, and alerts using tools like Splunk or Sentinel to detect and respond to threatsCollaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to improve overall security postureManage user access controls and identity management systemsMonitor and audit for potential security breaches, abnormal behavior, and unauthorized accessVerify that applied security policies are properly configured and effectively enforcedMonitor network, system, and application security to detect and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilitiesParticipate in incident response processes, including investigation, containment, recovery, and documentationAssist in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsSupport security awareness training and compliance initiatives for employees and third partiesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practicesDocument security configurations, procedures, and technical findingsConduct vulnerability assessments Pay Transparency: "The expected pay range for this position is $45.00-$52.27 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, 401(k) without employer match. Paid Sick leave is provided based on state or local laws."
