Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.Active Arizona State OT license or ability to obtain prior to the assignment start date.Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC, or ability to obtain prior to the assignment start date.Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital-based acute care or inpatient rehabilitation OT experience preferred by the client.Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT students as required by the facility.Demonstrated ability to perform patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document according to facility policy.Experience with safe patient handling techniques and infection control procedures in an acute care or hospital setting.Ability to participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning.CPR/BLS and other facility-required trainings must be current prior to start.Preferred: Experience with post-acute care, trauma, or complex medical populations.Assignment DetailsFacility Type: Hospital.Shift: Day (5x8).Assignment Duration: 13 Week.Number of Open Positions: 1.Location HighlightsExplore Tucson, AZ with nearby outdoor and cultural attractions.
