Welder/FabricatorWe are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team at our facility located in Grove City, OH. The successful candidate will support the weld and fabrication shop in manufacturing custom-built ambulances for cities and counties across the United States. The role involves performing MIG welding and reading blue print specifications, along with general use of hand tools.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and steel.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to build and layout jobs.Utilize hand tools and air-powered tools such as grinders, sanders, rivet guns, and saws.Maintain and pass AWS welding certifications.Essential SkillsStrong MIG and TIG welding ability on aluminum and steel.Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math involving fractions.Experience operating air-powered tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in fitting, layouts, and fabrication.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Why Work Here?Join a leading manufacturer of custom-built ambulances and contribute to a company that serves cities and counties across the United States. The weld and fabrication shop is located at the back of the plant where all jobs begin. The operation is deadline-oriented, with each cell completing tasks within three-hour intervals. While the main manufacturing area is not climate-controlled and can get warm in the summer, the facility's structure promotes efficient workflow.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
