SUMMARYServes as in-house support to clients for Life, Accident and Health products. Assist Producers in quoting, implementing and maintaining employee benefit clients.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following-· Provide client services for designated prospects and clients, managing the submission (RFP) process, securing information to effectively market to all carrier partners, preparing all new and renewal submissions for marketing, analyzing data, reviewing proposals, and implementing communication strategies with the client and/or producer.· Stay abreast of markets, products, and carrier competitiveness to provide a comprehensive product portfolio to the client.· Extensive knowledge of Agency Management System, keeping data current and staying up to date on system requirements, updates etc.· Assist with maintaining, modifying and creating Standard Operating Procedures as they pertain to Employee Benefits.· Act as a liaison between the client and insurance companies in order to resolve all normal service issues regarding billing, claims, eligibility and other customer service issues.· Dive into the technical details of plan design and cost analysis when preparing to go to market or present presentations; also work after the account is on board on implementing communication strategies, enrollments and other matters related to ongoing policy administration.· Assist with communication and renewal strategies for Employee Benefit clients depending on size and need.· Receives and maintains current insurance license· Other duties may be assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS· At least (5) years of career experience in Employee Benefits handling business and/or personal lines as a Customer Services Representative, Consultant or Account Executive or applicable experience.· Prior experience in a client interfacing role with responsibilities for managing direct communication on escalated issues, pricing and coverage changes and enrollments. Analytical and technically strong in policy design and negotiations.· Active state insurance license.· One more of the following designations: CBIA, CISR or AIAM· Organized and excels at meeting deadlines, team player, excellent communicator who can be an important liaison on client service issues between client, producers and other support staff.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, legal documents or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals that conform to prescribed style and format. This position requires the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from diverse groups of people. This position requires excellent customer service skills.MATHMATICAL SKILLSAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions then create spreadsheet comparison for clients.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust take and pass the Life, Accident & Health examination. Must maintain educational requirements in order to remain licensed.
