Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project ManagerTri-City Group is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager for an immediate opening in South Bend, IN. The Assistant Project Manager will support project teams with day-to-day coordination, documentation, and tracking on a mission-critical hyperscale project. The Assistant Project Manager plays a key role in keeping projects organized, maintaining accurate information, and supporting execution from preconstruction through closeout.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Support project teams with documentation, submittals, and scope trackingAssist with gathering quotes, takeoffs, and responding to RFIs/RFQsReview quotes for scope gaps, pricing changes, and completenessMaintain current drawings, specifications, and project documentation across platformsAssist with shop drawings and submittal coordinationTrack subcontractors, equipment, and quoted itemsSupport weekly reporting (labor, schedule progress, milestones, delivery updates)Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractorsAssist with project closeout including warranties, O&M manuals, and as-builtsHelp coordinate vendor start-up, site access, and owner trainingQualifications:12 years of construction or project coordination experience (preferred)Familiarity with construction documents, submittals, and project workflowsExperience with tools such as Procore & Bluebeam (preferred)Strong organizational and document management skillsCandidates must possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This includes effective communication, a proactive approach to follow-up, and the ability to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep projects moving forward.All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen and reference check.
