divh2Job Title/h2pAs a valued member of our team, you will process orders for material or merchandise received by mail, telephone, or personally from customer or company employees by performing the following duties. This job deals with a high volume of calls./ph3Benefits/h3pPPO/HMO Health Insurance, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/ppPTO (Paid Time Off)/pp401k Retirement Plan/ppOvertime pay/ppDirect Deposit/ppEmployee Assistance Program/ph3Essential Functions:/h3ulliAnswer incoming emails and calls from customers and vendors./liliFull customer service management of assigned plant./liliProcess incoming orders and shipments./liliEdits orders received for price and classification./liliInforms customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer./liliChecks inventory control and notify stock control departments of orders that would deplete stock./liliRoutes orders to departments for filling and follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates./liliPrepares invoices and shipping documents./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulh3Non-Essential Duties:/h3ulliReceives and checks customer complaints. Escalations sent to dispatch manager./liliRecords or files copy of orders received according to expected delivery date./li/ulh3Core Competencies:/h3ulliExcellent verbal and written communication skills./liliStrong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a high-volume environment./liliStrong customer service skills and the ability to satisfactorily resolve issues./liliProficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Command Alkon./liliAbility to work well in a team environment./li/ulh3Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/h3pThis is a full-time position. General days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday, hours to be determined. Not eligible for remote work.
