Maintenance Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for overseeing preventative maintenance programs, equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and maintenance personnel to ensure maximum production uptime, operational efficiency, and safety compliance.The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience within manufacturing, packaging, or high-speed production environments and possess a hands-on approach to driving continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians and supervisors across multiple shiftsOversee all preventative and predictive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and facility systemsEnsure maximum equipment uptime and production reliabilityTroubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issuesDevelop and manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtimePartner closely with Production, Engineering, and Operations teams to improve plant performanceManage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationshipsImplement continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment efficiency and cost reductionEnsure compliance with OSHA, safety, environmental, and company standardsDrive root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring equipment failuresSupport capital projects, equipment installations, and facility upgradesMaintain accurate maintenance documentation and CMMS recordsQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing maintenance experience considered5+ years of maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing or packaging environmentsStrong knowledge of:PLC troubleshootingElectrical systemsMechanical systemsPneumatics & hydraulicsPreventative maintenance systemsHigh-speed automated equipmentExperience leading maintenance teams in a production environmentStrong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologiesExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsCMMS experience preferredPreferred BackgroundExperience within:Packaging manufacturingFood & beveragePlasticsConsumer productsHigh-speed automated production environments
