If so, we’d like to talk with you about growing with us.EnSafe is looking for an Environmental Compliance Specialist to work in our office in Memphis, Tennessee.EnSafe’s Environmental Compliance specialists are involved in evaluating the compliance status of industrial facilities, assisting them with applying for and complying with various environmental permits, and helping identify and comply with other environmental obligations. EnSafe is committed to providing pragmatic, cost-effective strategies for maintaining compliance, minimizing liabilities, and improving environmental performance.Duties/ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will: Train on how to navigate local, state, and federal regulations, combined with the ability to prepare technical documents, reports, and proposals.Performing environmental inspections at client facilitiesDevelop and revise various environmental written programs (SPCC Plans, stormwater plans, groundwater protection plans, waste minimization plans, air permit applications, etc.)Complete annual EPCRA reports (e.g., Tier 2, TRI) and submit them via online reporting platforms (NetDMR, EPA CDX system, etc.)Perform air emission calculations and reportingRegulatory research and interpretationEnvironmental sample collection, monitoring, and reporting (soil sampling, hazardous waste characterization sampling, stormwater sampling, wastewater sampling)Management of health and safety during field workSkills/ExperienceMinimum Skills and Requirements:BS in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent sciences 1-2 years of prior environmental consulting experience is preferred (including co-ops and internships)Strong organizational and time management skills while working on multiple projects for multiple project managers and clients. Candidates must be detail-oriented and exhibit good listening and note-taking skills.Regular travel to client locations (local and regional) with occasional travel nationally.
