Project EngineerYou will be the Project Engineer, on the AMMM Project Engineering team responsible for delivering complex system development products and solutions for a variety of contracts. Your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of effort consisting of complex system/technical development from concept, through design, implementation, test, manufacturing/deployment, sustainment and modifications. You will ensure alignment with Engineering and Technology strategy, technical feasibility, and manage technical risk. You will drive planning and execution across all Engineering Teams to meet contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements and satisfy customer needs. You will act as single voice and point of contact to program management and senior leadership on program execution. You will provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to the Program Manager. You will develop innovative and scalable standardized processes to maintain agility and flexibility. You will complete all Earned Value Management assigned duties to include work authorization requests, estimate at complete reviews, schedule status, variance reporting, comprehensive estimates at complete, and proposal tasks.Must be a US Citizen. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or a Technical Degree with 8+ years of related aircraft experienceExperience in design, analysis, and/or aircraft systems or structureProject Management experience leading a cross functional team on a new or modified development programDesired Skills:Has C-130 Technical domain knowledge like Software, Avionics, Aircraft or SystemsDemonstrated understanding of Program planning and management of complex program issuesExperienced at reporting program progress to senior leadershipMust have strong inter-personal skills, have the ability to work within a team, and be able to work in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated proficiency in developing proposals and execution of programsAbility to author initial design and follow-on Statement of Work languageUnderstanding of Technical Supplier/Sub-Contract Management and IntegrationDemonstrated communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business casesDemonstrated ability to coordinate technical planning across a broad range of stakeholdersRisk and Opportunity Identification experienceAccept responsibility, accountability and exercise authority to ensure cost, schedule, and technical success.Demonstrated proficiency using MS ProjectPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
