MEP Service Manager

Job Description:We are looking for a Service Manager to join our MEP company and lead our service department. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, proposing and managing preventive maintenance contracts, creating and implementing policies and procedures, and overseeing the service field team and coordinators. You will also assist with training new coordinators on the software system Sage 300 Construction and ensure customer satisfaction and quality service delivery.To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in managing service operations in the MEP industry, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems. You should also be familiar with Sage 300 Construction software and have a valid drivers license.Responsibilities:Generate new business opportunities and grow the service departmentPropose and manage preventive maintenance contracts from the construction projectsCreate and implement policies and procedures to standardize workflow for the service field team and coordinatorsAssist with training new coordinators on the software system Sage 300 ConstructionMonitor and evaluate the performance of the service field team and coordinatorsEnsure customer satisfaction and quality service deliveryResolve any issues or complaints from customers or staffPrepare and manage budgets, invoices, reports, and recordsCoordinate with other departments and external partners as neededStay updated on the latest trends and best practices in the MEP industryRequirements:Bachelors degree in engineering, business administration, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in managing service operations in the MEP industryProven track record of generating new business opportunities and growing the service departmentExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systemsFamiliarity with Sage 300 Construction software or similarValid drivers license and clean driving recordAbility to work under pressure and handle multiple tasksAvailability to work on-call 24/7 as needed
