Senior FP&A Analyst

Job DescriptionNature's Sunshine is looking for an experienced Sr. FP&A Analyst to join the team. In this role, you will provide financial/analytical support to corporate executives, sales, marketing, operations, and business unit executives, requiring excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to think fluidly during presentations and conversations. In addition, the position requires in-depth knowledge of business and sales dynamics, a strong financial modeling skillset, experience with business intelligence tools, and PowerPoint. Success in this role hinges on your ability to thrive as a proactive contributor in a high-performing team.Responsibilities:Working in tandem with Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT, the successful candidate will be responsible for (1) assisting with the consolidation of reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for the entire global business (2) assisting with presentations for the Board of Directors, monthly/quarterly business reviews, and scorecard and KPI tracking and analysis (3) building and maintaining models and analysis to assess business strategies, quantify risks/opportunities, and outline critical initiatives (4) providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to the CEO, CFO, CAO, and top management (5) partnering with the business intelligence team to create and maintain business reporting, variance analysis, and drive increased transparency, ownership, accountability, and clarity.Assists with the company's strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting tools and capabilities, ensuring transparency and alignment around results, risks, and opportunities. Provides insightful and actionable reporting, recommendations, and action plans for driving sales and profitability. Monitors performance against business plans to achieve overall financial and growth objectives. Anticipates and identifies business opportunities & challenges and comes up with actionable insights. Contributes to overall business strategy by developing powerful financial models that add focus to the finance lens for the company. Evaluates total company performance and provide insights as to the impact of the financial situation on future performance. Improves financial processes and capabilities to enable sound business and financial decisions and ensure that financial goals and growth objectives are met or exceeded. Supports global sales and cost initiatives through analysis and an in-depth monthly performance review to identify opportunities to improve financial performance. Builds insightful and timely reporting regarding business results, key initiatives, and KPIs. Performs special projects, supports new product introductions, and other related duties as assigned. Acts as a critical resource for the CEO, CFO, and CAO in driving business results, ownership, and accountability. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or similar business discipline with a minimum of 2+ years related experience. MBA preferred. Experience partnering cross-functionally. Ability to utilize financial data to diagnose business strengths and weaknesses and identify the implications for potential strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid analytical skills. A high degree of organizational skills. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
