Description: Job Type: Full-Time: Salaried; Exempt 45-50 hr work week Job Description: Retail Rebel is a national leader in managing Overstocks and Liquidation products and providing Asset Recovery Services. The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees multiple Warehouse Operations Supervisors and is responsible for the daily management of all product handling and processing across multiple departments.Our brand new 520,000 square foot facility contains several departments divided amongst multiple Operations Managers including: Shipping & receiving, weekly pallet auction, multiple product sorting departments including Tech and Electronics, Ecommerce sales, home goods, Essentials, and Clothing. They will be responsible for providing all levels of staff with charismatic leadership, vision, insight and motivation within their areas of responsibility. Job Responsibilities: Lead warehouse operations by recruiting, training, and coaching numerous Supervisors and process leads Coordinate with Retail Leaders to create weekly optimal pricing and distribution plans Coordinate with Product Management Leaders to fully support processing needs Coordinate with the Auction Sales team to achieve revenue plan and fully support the weekly auction set up and load-out needs Ensure proper facility support in managing trash, cardboard, and pallet repair processes Strategically manage the warehouse and Operator team to ensure high levels of quality and productivity throughout Actively engage in continuous process improvement through cross departmental collaboration Demonstrate the ability to create a positive culture of high performing teams Demonstrate and enforce an environment of safety, good working relationships, quality, and productivity Perform quality inspections of equipment preventive maintenance and warehouse sanitation Coordinate with Safety, Security, and Facilities Director in support of all safety programs and manage the operation to meet all OSHA requirements Ensure all headcount and labor hour goals of the warehouse are met Other duties as assigned Benefits of working at Retail Rebel: Weekly pay Single shift operation, NO weekends. Free breakfast and lunch provided daily (2) Weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical, dental, and vision insurance offered inside of 60 days 401(k) with 3% Company match Your team will be rewarded frequently through a Pay for Performance Program that includes: Evaluations as early as 30 days on the team Pay increase opportunities as often as every 30-days Associate Recognition Program Associate Referral Program Retail purchasing discounts Requirements: Qualifications and Skills: Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Working knowledge of material handling equipment Ability to manage trailer yard and transportation Proficient in scheduling and time management Ability to manage multiple and differing processes successfully Superb people skills in mentoring, coaching/counseling, motivation, performance management, and employee relations Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Excellent collaboration and communication skills Exceptional analytical, root-cause-analysis, and decision-making abilities Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Operational Management, preferred Minimum of 5 years of warehouse operations experience in a fast-paced environment Minimum of 3 years experience leading a team of Supervisors and Leads Ability to obtain a Forklift Operator Certification Hazardous Material Management Certification, a plus First Responder Certification, a plus Experience with Salvage and or Liquidated freight industries, a plus
