Aerospace Integration Technician — Vacuum, Electrical & Thermal Systems A Shift (Occasional B Shift 1–2x per Month)We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Integration Technician with strong hands-on experience in vacuum systems, electrical integration, and mechanical assembly. This role supports development and testing of complex hardware, including prototype and early-stage systems, many of which will be launched into orbit.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical and electrical integration of components, subsystems, and test hardwareAssemble structural, mechanical, electrical, and fluid systemsInstall harnesses, sensors, instrumentation, and power hardwareSet up, operate, and maintain vacuum systems (pump-down, venting, leak checks)Work with high-voltage and high-amperage systems, following strict safety proceduresOperate furnaces and thermal processing equipment for thermal cycling and bake-out operationsBuild and modify prototype hardware based on evolving engineering designsInstall instrumentation such as pressure, temperature, and flow sensorsRoute cabling and plumbing to meet performance and cleanliness requirementsInterpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and test proceduresTroubleshoot hardware and resolve integration issuesMaintain accurate build records and test documentationFollow safety, contamination control, and quality standardsMentor junior technicians when neededRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED6+ years of hands-on technician experience OR Associate’s degree in a technical field plus 4+ years of experienceHands-on experience with:Vacuum systems (pumps, gauges, valves, leak checking)High-voltage and/or high-amperage systemsMechanical assembly using hand and power toolsMust be able to:Read mechanical drawings and electrical schematicsFollow work instructions and test proceduresUse shop/test tools such as torque tools, multimeters, and gaugesTroubleshoot systems independentlyLift up to 50 lbsWork overtime or off-shifts when requiredWork in confined spaces, at heights, or around industrial equipmentPreferred QualificationsAerospace, spaceflight, aviation, defense, semiconductor, or other high-reliability industry experienceExperience with:Vacuum chambers, turbopumps, cryopumps, or leak detectionHigh-power electrical systems (>600V or high-current systems)Furnaces or thermal processing systemsExperience working with prototype or development hardwareFamiliarity with:Cleanroom environmentsESD and contamination controlSensors and instrumentation wiringIf interested apply today!
