The individual selected will engage in budget development, formulation, and justification activities throughout the annual budget cycle, evaluate and analyze financial reports, and ensure compliance with federal budgeting processes. Daily responsibilities include preparing budget justifications, monitoring expenditures, analyzing financial trends, and providing detailed reports to support program goals and decision-making. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders is pivotal to ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and achievement of organizational objectives.QualificationsExpertise/experience in budget analysis and an in-depth understanding of federal budget processes, standards, and proceduresProven analytical skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate complex financial dataStrong program management skills to oversee and support financial operations effectivelyStrong communication and collaboration abilities for interacting with internal teams and stakeholdersBachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, or a related fieldProfessional certification in budgeting or project management (e.g., CGFM) is a plus
