More information about our firm can be found at www.zyounglaw.com.Role DescriptionOur firm is looking for an experienced attorney with 7-15 years of civil litigation experience to assist with our growing case load. The attorney will work collaboratively with our existing team to handle all aspects of litigation, including communicating with clients, drafting all types of legal documents, handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trials.Position DetailsRemote: This position is primarily remote, with the option to be fully remote. For those members of our team within the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding areas, our team meets in-person at the firm's office in San Ramon a few times a month to collaborate.Compensation: Anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000-230,000 (full time), depending upon experience. The Firm is also open to different compensation structures, including formula/performance-based compensation.Bonus: Bonus potential for originations and additional billed hours beyond minimum.Benefits: The Firm offers a competitive benefits package, subject to eligibility requirements, including: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k), and stipend for home office equipment.Full Time or Part Time Options: The Firm is open to candidates seeking full-time or part-time positions, as well as candidates seeking regular contract work.Low Billable Hour Target: The Firm prioritizes work life balance and avoiding attorney burn-out. Full-time attorneys are expected to target 1,600 minimum annual billable hours.Required QualificationsActive license to practice law in California and good standing with the State Bar of CaliforniaMinimum 7 years of civil litigation experienceExperience independently handling litigation responsibilities, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and client communicationsAbility to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining responsiveness and organizationPreferred Qualifications5+ years of experience handling business litigation and/or real estate litigation mattersTrial experienceExperience supervising more junior attorneysExperience with using Westlaw and ClioLocated in or around San Francisco Bay AreaInterested candidates are requested to please submit their Resume and a Writing Sample to Zachary Young (zyoung@zyounglaw.com).
