Housekeeper - Little Cat Lodge (Hillsdale, NY)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and cleaning, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the overall appearance of the facility. Duties - Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-presented. - Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed. - Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and towels to appropriate locations. - Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products in guest rooms and common areas. - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. - Follow established housekeeping procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization. - Assist in special cleaning projects as directed by housekeeping management or supervisors. Requirements - Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred, particularly in hospitality or industrial cleaning environments. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently while maintaining quality standards. - Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and moving furniture if necessary.
