Inspection of own work to ensure safety, quality, and proper functionality of equipment. Disassembly and inspection of legacy equipment in support of customer rebuild projects to like new condition. Perform field service calls to customers' facilities, including troubleshooting, consultation, and mechanical repair. Our field service staff is highly respected by our customers, and our representatives must present themselves professionally in person as well as in written communications. Field service representatives also play a key role in identifying sales opportunities for parts, service, repairs, and upgrades.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS2+ years mechanical experience or related vocational education Must have a strong safety orientation and maintain consistent safety consciousness Self-motivated and can follow instruction and retain training and information to be able to repeat duties without supervision Must be quality focused and detail oriented, able to actively participate and work in a team environment to maintain schedules and efficiency Strong mechanical and mathematical skills, with an understanding of engineering drawings and schematics, ability to follow detailed work instructions Knowledge in the use of manual and powered hand tools, powered equipment, precision measuring devices and cutting tools Ability to speak and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing Basic computer skills to log time and provide briefings on current builds or customer service visits Neat and professional appearance always maintained Customer service mentality to enhance our customers confidence in our company Ability to work and make decisions independently when in customer's facility Perform other duties and projects as assigned PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSValid driver's license and driving record that allows insurability under company's policy Familiarity with Windows programs and Microsoft office tools Ability to obtain a passport for overseas travel as international travel may be requested WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDSShop environment, steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses required Additional Training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required and provided by National Machinery related to specific tasks Must be able to regularly lift, push & pull loads of up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Work can be strenuous, and includes walking, climbing, kneeling, crawling, squatting, and pulling (such as on torque wrenches) as well as standing for long periods of time Overnight travel to customer facilities, knowledge of and adherence to customer site safety regulations is mandatory SCHEDULEStandard 8-hour shifts, 150% paid anytime over 8 hours daily, hours over 45 in a week are paid as double time Shift availability, standard schedules shown below First Shift 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday Second Shift 3:30 PM 12:00 AM, Monday Friday + 12.5% Shift Premium Third Shift 11:00 PM 7:00 AM, Sunday Thursday + 7.5% Shift Premium BENEFITS401k Match Paid Sick Leave 3 Personal No-Pay Days Health, Dental and Vision Plans Available Employer Paid Life Insurance Employee Recreation and Exercise Room Travel premiums ($4 an hour while traveling) Work premium ($8 an hour when working in customer plant) Compensation details:55000-90000 PI8ae5a62cf5a8-26289-40003706
