SR. WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (INVENTORY CONTROL FOCUSED) At FAMCO, we rely on accurate, organized, and dependable warehouse operations to support our customers and internal teams. The Sr. Warehouse Associate plays a key role in ensuring product accuracy, maintaining warehouse standards, and supporting daily operations with consistency and pride. Job Type: Full-Time (Temp to Hire) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Compensation: DOE Position Summary The Sr. Warehouse Associate supports warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, investigating variances, and assisting with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, staging, and replenishment. This role ensures product accuracy, organization, and timely flow of materials throughout the warehouse. What You’ll Do Inventory Control Perform routine cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories. Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods. Complete basic inventory transactions such as adjustments, transfers, and labeling updates. Maintain accurate inventory information in the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Warehouse Associate Support Assist with receiving tasks including unloading, sorting, labeling, and staging inbound materials. Support order fulfillment: picking, packing, palletizing, and staging shipments. Replenish warehouse stock and ensure items are stored in correct locations. Help maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and 6S standards. Operational Support Communicate inventory issues to lead or the Warehouse Manager. Work with warehouse team members to resolve stock discrepancies or missing items. Assist in preparing inventory-related documentation and simple reports. Follow standard operating procedures for handling, storing, and moving materials. Safety & Compliance Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and use proper lifting techniques. Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or quality issues. Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, and work instructions. Qualifications Education & Experience 3-5 years of warehouse or inventory experience preferred Strong computer literacy Familiarity with WMS or inventory systems is a plus. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Math and computer skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Warehouse environment with variable temperatures. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and move throughout the warehouse. May require overtime or weekend work during inventory or peak business periods.
