The ideal candidate will provide counseling services, support student success initiatives, and collaborate with staff and families to promote a positive school environment.Essential Duties And Responsibilities-Provide individual and small group counseling to support student academic, social, and emotional developmentDevelop and implement a comprehensive school counseling programSupport students with behavior interventions, conflict resolution, and social-emotional learningCollaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student successMonitor student attendance, progress, and well-beingSupport MTSS/RTI processes and student intervention plansAssist with crisis intervention and provide appropriate referrals when neededCommunicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student needs and progressParticipate in school meetings, events, and professional developmentMaintain accurate and confidential student recordsMinimum Qualifications-Master’s degree in School CounselingValid Florida Certification in School CounselingKnowledge of child development, behavior support, and counseling practicesStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications-Previous experience in a school settingKnowledge of MTSS/RTI processesExperience supporting K–8 studentsStrong crisis intervention and student support skillsWork Schedule-Monday through Friday8-hour shiftIn-person positionBenefits-Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchLife and disability insurancePaid time offProfessional development opportunitiesGlobal Leadership Academy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
