Ephrata Family Medicine Physician Practice Details Provider team consists of two Physicians and three APPs when fully staffed Standard 4-day work week Clinic hours: 8A " 5P Full time/permanent position Outpatient only with 1:5 nurse triaged, very light call Lab draw, X-ray, anti coag, dietary, behavioral health and ortho on site Multi-specialty clinic with specialists readily available for support nearby 20-25 patients per day EMR system is EPIC J-1 Candidates considered Compensation and Benefits 1-year physician partnership track for US candidates Physician leaders and decision makers at all levels of the organization Internal student loan repayment of up to $125k Signing bonus, 6 weeks PTO, matching 401k, life insurance, long term disability plus more Relocation expenses covered including packing - up to $20k CME allowance of $8k every 2 years Generous healthcare stipend of $618 per month to cover health care benefits and more Navigate Student loan Counseling for the life of your loan repayment Vital Work Life Employee Assistance Program Community It is generally believed that the city was named Ephrata by a man who work for the Great Northern Railway. The name Ephrata is derived from a biblical description of an orchard in the middle of the desert. It is also the ancient name for the town of Bethlehem. The region was known at the turn of the century for the great herds of wild horses that roamed the land. Horse trading was an important element of the local economy, and Ephrata served as the staging area for the horse round-ups. The last "Grand Horse Round-up" was held in Ephrata in 1906. Ephrata then developed as a trade and service center for cattle and sheep ranches in the area until the construction of the ColumbiaBasin Reclamation Project.
