DescriptionDiscover your exciting roleLead a group of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Engineers on large scale projects during the design and construction phase with overall responsibility for technical issues. Preparation of Basic Design, Front End Engineering Design and detailed design of the Process Control System, Building control System and other Extra-Low Voltage systems for the specific project.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesDevelop Sequence of Operations/Logic Diagrams and cause and effectAbility to review and stamp ELV drawings as a Professional EngineerChecking the Design Documents, Studies, Specifications, datasheets and Calculations prepared by other Instrument EngineersExecute/Expedite Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) system packages during construction phase of a project and taking responsibility for the assigned packagesCo-ordination on scheduling activities for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) supervisors on a project to ensure timely delivery at project milestone datesInterfacing with other trades during design phase and incorporate their requirements into Extra-Low Voltage system designTechnical Evaluation of vendor submissions including approval of shop drawingsPreparing the procedure for testing and commissioning of individual system and assisting in loop commissioning of the controls systemGuiding Designer/Draftsman for preparing cable routing plan, hook-up drawings, wiring drawingsSupervise and Mentor Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Engineers during tendering, design and construction phase based on the best practices defined in the engineering efficiency checklists.
