Title: Robotic Arm Engineer III (FANUC)Location : Denver, CO RegionTarget Start Date : ASAPType: Long-term Contract (2-3+ yrs) or Contract-to-HirePay Rate : $57.50-$62.50/hr ($120-130K/yr)SummaryOur client, a global leader in advanced autonomous and robotic solutions across multiple industries, is seeking a hands-on Robotic Arm Engineer to lead the design, programming, integration, and deployment of FANUC robotic arm solutions in complex industrial and autonomous vehicle environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, program, and optimize FANUC robotic arm systems for development and production environments.Lead robotic system integration efforts across mechanical, electrical, controls, and software engineering teams.Collaborate on end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) and interface design for autonomous truck-to-trailer connection systems.Develop robust motion control, error handling, and recovery strategies for real-world operating conditions.Integrate and optimize FANUC iRVision (2D/3D) systems for alignment and adaptability.Drive testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure reliability and uptime.Support field deployments, customer integration activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to robotics engineering standards and best practices.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.3-5+ years of experience programming and deploying FANUC robotic systems or similar industrial robotic arms.Strong experience with FANUC TP/KAREL programming and robotic system configuration.Experience integrating FANUC iRVision (2D and/or 3D) systems.Background working across robotics hardware/software environments including sensors, PLCs, and controls systems.Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with autonomous systems, mobile robotics, or industrial automation environments.Familiarity with PLC integration, fieldbus protocols (EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet), and controls systems.Experience with EOAT/tooling design and robotic safety systems.Prior technical leadership or mentoring experience.Welcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
