Manufacturing Engineer-Medical Device
Job Summary:The Manufacturing Engineer II plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by leading complex engineering tasks and driving process improvements. This position requires applying technical expertise to solve challenging manufacturing issues, optimize production processes, and support business objectives. The role involves cross-functional collaboration and proactive problem-solving in a dynamic production environment.Key Responsibilities:• Lead and execute complex manufacturing engineering projects with multiple interdependent elements• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements• Anticipate technical challenges and develop innovative solutions where standard approaches may not exist• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production, quality, and process optimization efforts• Provide technical guidance and participate in peer reviews for engineering tasks and validation activities• Develop and implement new methods, tools, and approaches to enhance manufacturing performance• Evaluate the impact of engineering changes across systems and ensure alignment with business objectives• Support verification and validation activities to ensure product and process complianceRequired Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering or related field• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related discipline• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and process improvement methodologies• Experience solving complex technical problems in a production environment• Ability to lead projects and work independently with minimal supervision• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:• Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices or healthcare manufacturing• Knowledge of validation and verification processes• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma• Experience working in cross-functional engineering teamsBenefits:The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.Pay Range: $40/hr to $45/hr
