Deliver targeted radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients at a prominent, academic medical center offering advanced cancer care. This opportunity is a contract position located in Winston-Salem, NC, within a Level 1 Trauma Designated facility hosting an average daily patient census of 75-95. The department is equipped for complex cases spanning all cancer types and serves patients ranging from three months old through geriatric.Key Responsibilities:Administer radiation therapy using Elekta technology and document treatments in Mosaiq EMR.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including lead therapists and department leadership to provide high-quality patient care.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain accurate treatment records.Participate in a structured orientation program with departmental support tailored to your experience level.Qualifications:Current BLS certification.Valid ARRT-RT certification.Minimum of 1 year radiation therapy experience, with at least one prior contract completed (no first-time travelers).Proficiency in Elekta and Mosaiq systems is required.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work scheduled shifts, including a weekend rotation (10-hour shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM).Schedule & Work Environment:Monday-Friday, with weekend rotation.No on-call or major holiday requirements.Employee parking available.Department scrub colors are black and turquoise.Scheduling cycles are weekly with manager-approved time off requests.Location Overview: Winston-Salem, NC, offers a dynamic community with rich cultural amenities and strong medical education programs.
