Direct Support Worker

About The RoleIn this role, you will work in the community, assisting STAR clients with light domestic support, including shopping, preparing meals, escorting to appointments, respite, social activities to support clients to remain living independently and comfortably in their own homes. This role offers variety and an opportunity for you to make a one-on-one connection with vulnerable people and make a huge positive impact in their lives.RequirementsTo be suited for this role you are empathetic and proactive with a genuine interest in supporting the aged and people with disability. You are compassionate, calm and caring. You are punctual, reliable and flexible. You have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
