Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingCompetitive salaryDental insuranceFree food & snacksHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceLocation is on Kiawah Island in Freshfields VillageSummaryThe Soda Fountain/Retail Manager is responsible for the overall day to day management and operation of the Soda Fountain and Retail store and its employees.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDirects preparation of food and drinks served using established production procedures and systemsDirects hiring, training, and scheduling of Soda Fountain and Retail staffEnforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areasEnsures compliance with all health & safety regulationsResponsible for maintaining inventory of food and retail merchandise, sends in Drug Store and Soda Fountain inventory and list of checks written on a monthly basisEnsures all equipment is maintained and in proper working orderReconciles credit card statement and process all store invoicesProperly and accurately handles and deposits payments at the end of each dayEnsures all associates provide prompt, courteous customer serviceOversees necessary housecleaning duties to maintain store cleanliness and basic upkeepAssists in maintaining proper inventory levels by placing necessary orders, inputting into POS system and shift auditsControls merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expensesPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred3-5 years' experience in retail sales and restaurant management preferredAbility to perform the essential duties as outlined aboveAbility to work successfully in a team environmentAbility to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less.Work Environment / Physical DemandsThis position is primarily indoors.
