Software, Technical Program Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Software Technical Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Business Services environment.Location: Elizabeth, NJ - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $201,000 – $231,000 annuallyResponsibilities Partner directly with software and ML leadership for execution strategy and resource planning Translate product and scientific ambitions into actionable engineering milestones Build and utilize AI-powered tools for progress tracking and operational efficiency Own execution and manage dependencies across teams to resolve blockers Structure release readiness and deployment schedules with clear data for team confidence Engage closely in engineering and ML work, including design reviews and code reading Develop technical intuition about AI systems, identifying bottlenecks and integration challengesQualifications 10+ years of combined experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or applied ML, along with a program management role Demonstrated understanding of the ML development lifecycle and efficient shipping of ML systems Strong software fluency, able to read code and participate in technical discussions in real-time Direct experience in driving technical execution, delivering complex, multi-team engineering projects Fluency with modern AI tools and their application to project management Strong judgment under ambiguity, establishing clarity in undefined project spaces Clear communicator who bridges technical and non-technical stakeholdersBenefits Access to health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match Flexible paid time off and company holidays Equity or incentive compensation for eligible rolesOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
