Job Title: Application Developer (Misys Summit FT)Job Type: Contract Long-termJob Location: New York, NYA global bank is seeking an Application Developer specialized in Misys Summit FT. This is a front-to-back office position within the FICT group. The Application Developer must have experience with Summit API implementation, STP processes, and finance knowledge (such as Summit accounting processes, schemas, and postings), which will be a significant plus.In compliance with the firm's software development policies, the Senior Application Developer - Misys Summit FT - will provide software solutions (Summit) to increase productivity and efficiency, streamline processes, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance. The role involves developing software components, including a GUI (graphical user interface), an engine (for calculations, decision-making, order processing), and data components (for data manipulation, storage, and output).Requirements:Deep knowledge of Summit, with familiarity with products traded in Fixed Income, Treasury, and Credit markets.Experience with Summit STP services for front and back office, including cash flows, accounting, operations, and settlement workflows.Experience implementing the latest solutions on Summit and retiring legacy systems, including trade migration to Summit Head Office.Experience in implementing and improving settlement, confirmation, and clearing workflows.Knowledge of regulatory reporting and data quality maintenance.Strong IT skills, including source code review, SQL querying (Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server), and scripting (Windows, Unix, Bash, Perl, Python).Familiarity with Visual Studio, C++, C#, Infragistics, Tomcat, XML, XSLT, VBA.Ability to analyze complex problems, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Minimum 5 years of experience in financial industry implementations.Senior LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeContractJob FunctionInformation Technology, Engineering, and AnalystIndustriesInvestment Banking, Banking, and Financial ServicesJ-18808-Ljbffr
