Physician - Gastroenterology: Transplant Hepatology
The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, is seeking a dedicated Transplant Hepatologist to join our academic department committed to advancing gastroenterology and hepatology through cutting‑edge technology, collaborative research, and outstanding patient care.

Key Position Highlights
Manage all aspects of liver disease. Essential functions include upper endoscopy procedure, colonoscopy, liver biopsies, as well as patient visits in the outpatient clinic and providing inpatient consultative services
Serve as a clinical educator to GI fellows, residents, and medical students
Engage in clinical or basic science research
Gastroenterology team comprised of 15 Gastroenterologists, 6 Transplant Hepatologists, 3 IBD Faculty and 22 APPs
12 Endoscopy suites—and planning for additional rooms with current expansion
Participate in educational conferences

Required Qualifications
MD, DO or equivalent
Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology
Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
