M&A Business Development AnalystMP Advisory LLCRemote (U.S.) • Part-Time or Full-Time • Pay-for-ProductivityAbout MP AdvisoryMP Advisory LLC is a high-performance boutique sell-side M&A and strategic advisory for middle-market companies. We help our clients sell their business using our fully-integrated, sell-side M&A transaction advisory process – everything included to prepare our clients for a sale. The RoleWe are hiring an M&A Business Development Analyst to drive top-of-funnel deal origination across our active engagements. Your job is straightforward: identify qualified targets against a defined campaign brief, reach out to owners and decision-makers, and book qualified intro calls onto the calendars of MP Advisory leadership. This is a pay-for-productivity role. You are paid per booked call that meets the campaign's qualification criteria. The harder and smarter you work, the more you earn. There is no cap.For candidates who perform, there is a clear path to expand into live M&A execution work — process management, target diligence, CIM and marketing materials, buyer outreach, and deal coordination — alongside continued BD responsibility. What You'll Do•    Work from campaign-specific briefs that define the target profile, qualification criteria, and messaging for each engagement.•    Build and refine prospect lists using provided data sources and your own research.•    Run outbound outreach by phone, email, and LinkedIn to business owners, founders, and senior operators.•    Qualify conversations against the criteria provided and book intro calls directly onto MP Advisory leadership's calendar.•    Track activity, outcomes, and pipeline cleanly so results are transparent and measurable.•    Feedback loop with leadership to sharpen messaging, targeting, and conversion over time. What We're Looking For•    Experience that earns the call. You have enough professional polish and phone skill to hold a credible conversation with a business owner on the first ring — this is not an entry-level SDR seat.•    Genuine interest in business development. You like the hunt, you like the phone, and you treat outbound as a craft rather than a chore.•    Self-directed work ethic. You manage your own day, hit your numbers, and do not need to be chased.•    Clear, professional communication. Written and verbal. Owners of profitable private companies notice the difference.•    Research instincts. You can take a target criteria brief and build a smart list without hand-holding.•    Based in the United States. U.S. business hours, U.S. phone presence.Nice to Have•    Prior BD, sales development, or outbound experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, SaaS sales, or professional services.•    Familiarity with lower middle market deal dynamics or private company ownership.•    CRM and outreach tooling fluency (Apollo, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, power dialers, etc.).Compensation•    $100 per booked call with a lead that meets the qualification criteria defined for that campaign.•    Criteria are provided up front for each engagement, so what qualifies is never ambiguous.•    No cap. Your earnings scale directly with the volume of qualified meetings you book.•    1099 contractor engagement. Work the hours that fit your life — part-time or full-time.Path ForwardStrong BD performers at MP Advisory have the opportunity to expand into M&A execution work. That means learning to run live processes — buy-side target diligence, sell-side marketing, CIM drafting, buyer outreach, and deal coordination — while continuing to earn on BD production. The goal is to build deal professionals, and BD is the front door. How to ApplySend a brief note telling us (1) why this role fits what you want, (2) a concrete example of outbound work you have done, and (3) your availability.
