Seasonal Greenskeeper The Denver Country Club is currently searching for highly motivated, team-oriented individuals for our 2026 Grounds Crew. Seasonal grounds crew staff reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent. We are looking to hire candidates starting March 1st but can be flexible with start dates. About the Club: Established in 1887, Denver Country Club is recognized as the first club west of the Mississippi and one of the most prestigious private clubs in the country. The club hosts an 18-hole golf course, two indoor golf simulators, indoor and outdoor tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, ice hockey, lawn bowling, croquet, casual and fine dining. The club has a long history of golf championships and recently completed a golf course renovation in 2020. Job Summary: As a DCC golf course grounds crew seasonal employee you will be asked to perform a variety of tasks pertaining to the everyday maintenance of a private 18-hole country club golf course. Job Responsibilities: Mowing: Operate walk mowers on greens, tees, and other highly maintained playing surfaces and turf areas. Perform proper techniques and steps of mowing greens, tees, and approaches. Set tee markers correctly on the tee boxes after mowing. Follow daily instruction regarding specific mowing directions. Bunker Maintenance: Rake all bunkers in your assigned section of the golf course daily and place the bunker rakes in their proper places. Monitor the condition of all bunker rakes in your section and report any damage. Edge, trim, pull weeds, and monitor the sand depths to properly maintain the playability, consistency, and aesthetics. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Continually pick up all visible trash and debris found on the golf course throughout the day. Line trim around trees, fence lines, curb lines, satellite boxes, creek banks, etc. Edge sprinkler heads, yardage markers, and cart paths. Hand water specific areas as assigned by the supervisors, paying close attention as to how much water to apply to different areas of the golf course. Fill divots on tee boxes and fairways with seed and soil. Use assigned equipment only and thoroughly clean and return it to the proper place when finished. Safely operate utility vehicles and other motorized equipment and keep organized and clean at all times. Pay close attention to designated driving routes and parking areas on the golf course so as not to interfere with golf play. Monitor fuel levels for assigned equipment and report any equipment damage to the mechanics. Assist the other crew members in cleaning the maintenance shop at the end of the work day. Job Requirements: Follow specific oral and written daily instructions. Work approximately 40-45 hours/week. Work every other weekend. Report to work on time and ready to work. Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time, lift objects, work in different temperatures and climates outdoors. Successful candidates will also possess a desire to learn, a positive attitude and respect towards others, ability to work well with others and lead by example, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, ability to ask questions when needed, aspirations of career growth in the industry.
