This opportunity focuses on inpatient call coverage serving an adult patient population within a collaborative cardiology team.Position Details:Coverage need of approximately 3 7 days per monthInpatient and EMTALA call coverage only; no outpatient clinic responsibilitiesWork alongside two interventional cardiologists with additional specialty support available during coverageProvide comprehensive cardiology call coverage for the hospitalPerform general cardiology consults as neededInterpret diagnostic studies including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests (including nuclear stress testing)Documentation completed using Epic Cupid EMRRequired Procedures:Balloon angioplastyCoronary angioplastyPercutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)Cardiac catheterizationCoronary angiogramsRequirements:Board Certified in CardiologyActive Kentucky medical license and DEA registration (IMLC candidates considered with consistent availability)ACLS certificationCurrent NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentationCOVID vaccination preferred
