This is a great opportunity for a skilled imaging professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and accurate diagnostic imaging. You will perform a variety of MRI procedures using 1.5T and 3T equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient service.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and position patients for MRI proceduresClearly explain procedures and address patient concernsVerify imaging orders, diagnosis codes, and authorizationsEnsure compliance with MRI safety protocolsOperate 1.5T and 3T MRI systems following established protocolsAdminister contrast materials (oral or IV) as requiredPerform image quality checks and documentationMaintain accurate patient records in the electronic systemConduct weekly ACR quality assurance tasksReport equipment malfunctions as neededAssist in training new staff and mentoring student technologistsProvide physical and emotional support to patientsQualificationsEducation & Experience:Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology programMinimum 2 years of imaging experience, with at least 1 year in MRI preferredExperience with both 1.5T and 3T MRI systems is a plusLicensure & Certifications:Florida-licensed Radiologic TechnologistARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)) or Nuclear Medicine (RT(N))ARRT (MR) certification preferred or must be obtained within 12 months of hireBLS certification requiredSkills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of MRI protocols and cross-sectional anatomyFamiliarity with PACS and digital imaging systemsSkilled in IV placement and contrast administrationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced settingCalm under pressure and capable of handling emergenciesRadiology Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
