Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians during medical procedures, managing patient interactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.Position Details:Location: Englewood, COSchedule: Part-Time (Mondays & Tuesdays)Must be able to travel train full-time, out of state for the first 2-3 weeksFluent in English & Spanish RequiredCompensation: $23-$26hr based on experience and qualifications.Key Responsibilities:Greet patients and escort them to the examination rooms; assist patients with the completion of forms as necessaryBecome familiar with clinic computer hardware and software and use according to company policiesSchedule appointments and accommodate patient appointment needs, such as ordering transportation, rescheduling, etc.Perform clerical work as needed, i.e., copying, filing, faxing, etc.Comply with patient needs at all times and ensure all questions are answeredMaintain procedure rooms by ensuring that they are neat and ready for use at all timesAssist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures in accordance with instructions and individual doctor preferencesPrepare patients before procedures and clean up afterEnsure patient receipt of post-procedure instructions and how to obtain medication if neededMonitor supply levels and replace as neededApply knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulationsPrepare IV solutionTrain new staff as neededAssist ultrasound staff as neededTransport supplies or equipment as neededPerforms additional duties as assignedRequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredFluent in Spanish - highly preferredMedical Assistant Certification - highly preferred1-2 years of experience as a medical assistantCertification in Basic Life Support (BLS)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced team environmentBenefits
