JOB TITLE: TRAINING & ENGAGEMENT FACILITATOR DEPARTMENT: HUMAN RESOURCESLOCATION: BRONX, NY | HYBRIDSTATUS: NON EXEMPTREPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF STAFF DEVELOPMENTSALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $75,000SUMMARY: The Training and Engagement Facilitator is responsible for fostering a positive workenvironment that promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice at Westhab Inc. This positionreports to, and supports the Director of Staff Development with facilitating training, conductingneeds assessments and employee surveys, and building a culture of engagement andcollaboration. This role will also be responsible for managing the administrative tasks i.e sendtraining invitations and reminders, generate materials and certificates for attendees, and updateand maintain the tracking system in ADP. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in teaching,effective communication, and engaging diverse audiences. In addition, a passion for journalism,and expression through writing is key.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:• Assist with the design, preparation and facilitation of training for the Westhab LearningCenter.• Collaborate with the Director of Staff Development to plan, organize, and execute eventspromoting DEIJ, including but not limited to, cultural celebrations and speaker series.• Assist with maintaining the Staff Development knowledge library.• Research and recommend appropriate programs, partnerships, and/or workshops.• Assist the Director of Staff Development with assignments and projects.• Capture, create and disseminate content for the company newsletter to showcase events,resources, and success stories at Westhab Inc.• Perform other related duties as required.ESSENTIAL JOB AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:• Associates Degree required in a related field; (Bachelor's Degree preferred)• Two (2) or more years of experience in developing and implementing learning programs.• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including strong proficiency in verbalarticulation and visual aids.• Deep understanding and awareness of diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and justice.• Proficiency in using design and productivity tools such as Canva, G-Suite, Microsoft OfficeSuite, and SharePoint.AGENCY PROFILE & EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONSWesthab is a prominent community development organization, providing housing and supportiveservices for more than 10,000 of the most vulnerable members of our community each year.
