Roadside Assistance Agent - Call Center

Job Description As a Roadside Assistance Agent, you handle inbound calls and route them through an automated call distribution system. The agent will also assist customers with vehicle issues and get them back on the road as quickly and safely as possible.Because we support customers around the clock, candidates must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, on a scheduled and rotating basis. This does not mean working every day, but flexibility is essential.Responsibilities:Provide top-notch customer service and assistance to callers experiencing difficulties with their vehicles.Determine a preliminary course of action based on the information presented by the customer.Provide stellar customer service support to assist callers accurately and effectively,Think creatively and independently while facilitating problem resolutionDisplay the highest degree of courtesy, clarity, and professionalism to resolve customer issues and achieve a "one-call" resolutionTroubleshoot and guide customers through vehicle issues to get them back on the road quickly and safelyConvey accurate information about the company, whether in person, by phone, e-mail, fax, or other communication devicesEffectively explain vehicle features to customers and co-workers with a wide range of knowledgePerform other duties as assigned to support business needs and objectives.Requirements:Must be available to work multiple schedules that include weekends & holidaysExperience in an inbound call center and automotive-related business is a solid plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA high degree of comfort using computerized order processing systemsIntermediate typing and data entry skillsProven ability to use solid reasoning and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with effective organization and follow-through skillsYou need to be flexible, can multitask, and embrace changeProficiency in Google Suite, including Word & ExcelSelf-motivated, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detailAbility to function in a fast-paced environment under short time constraintsWe are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
