Diesel Mechanic (Middleboro)

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to support a growing operation in Middleborough, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of diesel and non-diesel vehicles and equipment, ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently.This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and keeping equipment in top condition.DIRECT HIREPay & ScheduleMiddleborough, MA$30 – $40/hr (based on experience)Afternoon shift starting at 12 noon-830pmFull or part timeOvertime available (including nights/weekends)What You'll DoPerform preventative maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical issues, including small engine repairsTroubleshoot using computer diagnostics toolsCoordinate outsourced repairs with external vendors when neededMaintain accurate repair records, work orders, and purchase ordersEnsure all vehicles meet inspection and registration requirementsTravel to job sites as needed to perform repairsCommunicate effectively with drivers and team members regarding equipment statusWhat You Bring2+ years of diesel engine repair experience3+ years of overall mechanical experienceExperience with computer diagnostics (required)Strong understanding of diesel systems and hydraulicsAbility to troubleshoot and work independentlyValid Driver's License (required)Strong communication skillsNice to HaveCDL AExperience with electrical systems and air brakesKnowledge of DOT inspections (Level 1)
