Leading Textile Manufacturing Company: Position Overview: We are a leading Textile Manufacturing company seeking a highly skilled experienced Controller to join our dynamic finance team, as Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of financial management and reporting for our $100 million company. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, implementing internal controls, analyzing financial data, providing strategic insights to drive the company's financial success. Key responsibilities: 1. Financial reporting : Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and provide insightful commentary on financial performance. 2. Budgeting and forecasting: Collaborate with the CFO to develop and monitor the company's budget and financial forecasts, provide recommendations for improving financial and cost efficiency. 3. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Conduct periodic audits to identify risks and implement corrective actions. 4. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity by monitoring receivables, payables, and working capital. Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and maintain adequate reserves for operational needs. 5. Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including variance analysis, profitability analysis and return on investment calculations. Provide key insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making. 6. Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax filings. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to minimize the company's tax liabilities while maintaining compliance. Qualifications and skills: : Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field. : CPA (Certified Public Accounting) designation is highly desirable. : Proven experience as a controller or in a senior financial management role, preferably in a company with revenues exceeding $50 million. : Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements. : Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting techniques. : Exceptional analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities. : Proficiency in financial software systems ( e.g EARP, Excel) and familiarity with data visualization tools.
