Join us!Jared Jewelers is looking for dynamic and driven individuals to join our team as a Maintenance / Porter!The Maintenance / Porter will contribute to an environment of total customer satisfaction by making the customer's needs the first priority.Our Maintenance / Porter will be responsible for the following:Performs all general maintenance, both inside and outside the storeMaintains the appearance of the sales floor at all times by picking/sweeping up spills and debrisMaintains glass windows and doors, keeping them free from spotsCleans and maintains public restrooms on designated scheduleMaintains the break room in a clean, neat and orderly fashionMaintains the outside appearance of the store by sweeping or picking up any debris and ensuring that trash containers are emptied regularlyClears away any snow, slush or ice from in front of the entranceMonitors maintenance performed by contracted vendorsUtilizes the ETS in accordance with company guidelinesPerforms other duties as assignedJob RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED EquivalentGenuine desire to service our customers in keeping our retail stores and outside appearance orderlyA positive attitude and willingness to be a team player are essential to the success of this jobModerate interpersonal relations and communication skillsThe ability to use hand and power tools, basic carpentry skillsVisual and auditory skillsAbility to lift at least 50 lbsBase pay, $17.13 – $19.00.
