Chief Building Engineer Office Building, Class A Property!

This person will oversee fire life safety systems, assist property management staff, and provide customer service to tenants.Responsibilities include:Walking properties to identify potential maintenance issues, before they become an issueResponding to tenant concernsSpeaking with tenants face to face to understand their work order needsTroubleshooting plumbing and potential electrical needsResponding to fix-it items such as: general facilities, electrical, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, etc.Assisting with preventative maintenanceSpeaking with vendors for TI and Construction CapEx projectsWorking with vendors on various projects, and following upTracking work order statusCommunicating with Property Managers and teamEnsuring landscaping is well keptReviewing proposals for vendors to select vendors, alongside the Property ManagerSetting up for special events and property projects, as neededAssisting with specialty projectsSpecial Skills:Ability to work well with othersStrong people skillsMust Have:5+ years of building maintenance for commercial high-rise office (over 500,000 square feet)Certified “Universal” refrigerant recovery HVAC technicianProficient use of Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is requiredAbility to work on automated systemsFamiliarity working with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and roofingAbility to work with external vendors
