HVAC General Manager OpportunityA growing mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC General Manager to lead day-to-day operations across commercial and residential service divisions. This role is responsible for overseeing operations, technician performance, financial performance, staffing, customer relationships, and overall departmental growth.The ideal candidate has strong operational leadership experience within HVAC service environments and can lead teams while driving profitability, accountability, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations of the HVAC service divisionManage departmental budgets, forecasting, and overall financial performanceLead technician meetings, staffing, and team developmentPromote and enforce a strong safety-first cultureMonitor operational efficiency and implement process improvementsOversee recruiting, onboarding, and training of new employeesWork closely with HR regarding employee performance and personnel mattersMaintain strong communication with customers, field teams, and leadershipReview bids, proposals, and project/service opportunitiesSupport employee engagement, accountability, and long-term developmentTrack KPIs, reporting, and departmental performance metricsRequirements5+ years of experience in commercial and residential HVAC service leadershipPrevious experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership roleBackground managing technicians, operations, and departmental performanceExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and operational planningBasic sales and customer relationship management experience preferredStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and service management softwareServiceTitan experience is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompany vehicle and gas cardCompany phone and laptopMedical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and PTOAnnual performance reviews and growth opportunities
