The shiftstarts with check out 5 pm and ends at 6:30 am. The APP will be expected to provide first callcoverage for 12-13 CICU patients. The Cardiac ICU mostly cares for post operative patientsincluding neonatal surgeries as well as VAD and potentially heart transplant patients. There isin house cardiac ICU physician coverage overnight.Job #: 26-00359Additional Details: Setting: Pediatric ICU Patient Volume for Specified Dept: 25 bed cardiac ICU Main Position duties /Required Procedures:o Performs history and physical assessments of patients that are accurate, complete,concise, relevant and appropriate for age, gender and clinical problem.o Orders appropriate diagnostic studies and correctly interprets results.o Develops, implements, evaluates, and alters the plan of care as needed.o Maintains accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation in electronicmedical records.
