Supervisor Locating

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Team at UtiliQuest, LLC as a Field Supervisor. UtiliQuest, LLC is a leading provider of underground utility damage prevention with 25 years of experience. The company's headquarters are in Alpharetta, GA, and it operates across multiple states including California, Indiana, Ohio, Arkansas, Florida, and New York. UtiliQuest was founded in 1998 and is a subsidiary of Dycom Industries, a specialist contracting firm in the telecommunications and infrastructure industry.Role OverviewThe Field Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Center Manager and manages the workflow of technicians, creating schedules, delegating tasks, assessing performance, ensuring business goals are met, setting goals for technicians, and maintaining the company's vision and standards.ResponsibilitiesBuild and supervise a team of Damage Prevention Technicians who understand key performance indicators and economic engines of the business.Promote and maintain a strong safety culture for all employees.Conduct daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure quality control.Conduct audits on field personnel to ensure quality standards are met.Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.Create and maintain good working relationships with clients, excavators, regulators, employees, and the public.Assist the Center Manager in identifying strengths and weaknesses of technicians.Assist technicians with locating difficult-to-find utilities.Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to identify staffing needs, interview candidates, and make final hiring decisions.Operate company vehicles safely and maintain a professional appearance.Validate and approve daily personnel time reports.Develop, mentor, and evaluate technicians and oversee employee engagement and morale.Complete Job Safety Observations (JSO's) for technicians.Produce tickets and work weekends as required.Complete additional duties as required.BenefitsWeekly paychecksPaid time off, parental leave, and holidaysInsurance (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life)401(k) with company matchStock purchase planEducation reimbursementLegal insuranceDiscounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and moreQualificationsComplete and maintain all trainingDrive safely and follow company safe driving policiesMaintain punctuality and attendance for all shifts and training sessionsPerform work in all weather conditions, during normal and after hoursUse hands and fingers to operate specialized equipment and toolsReach overhead above shoulders, bend at the waist, stand, and walk for extended periodsLift and move up to 25 pounds frequentlyHave close vision and ability to adjust focusHearing and speaking to exchange informationFollow all safety rules at all timesWork a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as neededThe wage range for Supervisor Locating is $70,000.00 - $75,000.00.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.J-18808-Ljbffr
