Job Title: Quality Assurance TechnicianClient: Electrical industryDuration: 10 months (possible to extend)Location: Westborough, Massachusetts USA 01581Pay rate: $21.63/hrShift: 2nd shift (2:30 pm - 10:30 pm)Description:This is a potential temp to perm position for the right candidate.this role is NOT an incoming inspection type of role. • For all 3 shifts, this is a very hands on role where candidates will be expected to lift up to 50lbs, be standing for 90% of the role, and submerging cartridges in water baths for physical testing • Employees may be expected to work mandatory 10-12 hour days, often including Saturdays (please make sure candidate is comfortable with OT & Saturday work)Qualifications/Requirements:1. High school diploma/GED plus 4 years working experience in Manufacturing or Laboratory2. Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in local language3. Proficient with software applications applicable to the job4. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Six Sigma Green Belt certifiedSummaryThe Manufacturing Quality and Inspection Technician performs incoming product inspection of finished products, assemblies and compounds for good manufacturing/laboratory practices (GMP/GLP) to verify product meets specifications and are free of damage or defects.Key responsibilities/essential functions include:• Discard or reject products, material and equipment not meeting specifications• Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations and work for conformance to specifications• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions• Perform incoming inspection of items as needed to reduce backlogs• Verify conformance to specifications and protocols and report outcomes• Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status
