Maintenance AssistantJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, and making repairs as needed.Full Time - 40 Hours per weekHours - 7:00 to 3:30Required Rotating Call for after hours and weekends,ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, and lubricating equipmentTroubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systemsMake repairs to equipment, buildings, and grounds as neededAssist with the installation of new equipment and systemsMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repairsEnsure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable regulationsPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in maintenance or a related field preferredKnowledge of basic maintenance tasks and proceduresAbility to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systemsAbility to make repairs to equipment, buildings, and groundsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy objectsBasic knowledge of plumbing and electricalBasic carpentry skills
