Manufacturing Planner

That will be reporting to the Materials Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping our production running smoothly by planning schedules, coordinating materials, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations. You'll work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Order Preparation teams to align schedules, manage capacity, and ensure our products are delivered on time.If you enjoy solving problems, working with data, and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this role offers a great opportunity to make a direct impact on operational success.Develop daily production schedules and winding lineups aligned with production targets and resource availability.Forecast production activity up to 8 weeks ahead and maintain a 4-6-week order preparation schedule.Collaborate with Production and Purchasing to ensure materials and inputs are available and production plans align with capacity and delivery priorities.Generate and distribute production documentation, including work orders, load diagrams, and module templates.Track and analyze daily production performance using Excel and ERP systems.Monitor scheduling performance, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, and support a safe, compliant manufacturing environment.Diploma or Associate Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field5+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environmentStrong skills in Excel and ERP systems (Epicor experience is a plus)Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and collaborate across teamsCombination of office and manufacturing floorExposure to warm/humid plant areasSome physically active tasksAt RS, we invest in our people and support their growth.Competitive salary with performance incentivesHealth, Vision, and Dental coverageRetirement savings plan with company contributionsEmployer-paid life and disability insurancePaid time off and Employee Assistance ProgramCareer growth opportunities in a rapidly growing global companyBy joining RS, you'll be part of a growing global company focused on innovation and resilience, helping support the infrastructure that powers communities around the world.EEO/AA Employer M/F/D/V
