Line Cook/Prep Cook
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and presentation of our modernized Thai cuisine. Those already with the skills behind using a wok in a commercial kitchen setting is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to follow and complete our kitchen systems
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Set up and stock workstations with ingredients and cooking supplies.
- Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation practices are followed.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
- Washing dishes
- Perform additional duties directed by Kitchen Manager
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH A COMMERCIAL WOK RANGE PREFERRED!
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Working Conditions:
- Frequent exposure to cold and hot environmental settings
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
