Job Title: Systems Analyst III, Applications / Software Development (Scrum Master Focus)Location: Austin, TX 78701 (Hybrid, Onsite and Telework)Duration: May 18, 2026 through August 31, 2026Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding State holidays)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst III with a strong Scrum Master background to support enterprise-level application development and data initiatives. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can bridge business and technical teams, facilitate Agile delivery, and drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.The ideal candidate brings deep experience in Agile methodologies, systems analysis, and enterprise IT environments, with the ability to independently lead complex initiatives while aligning delivery to organizational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Analysis & Business AlignmentAnalyze business objectives, workflows, and system requirements to recommend effective technology solutionsConduct cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies for system enhancements or new implementationsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed functional and technical requirementsEvaluate system capabilities, constraints, and performance to determine solution viabilityDevelop detailed documentation including user requirements, process flows, and system specificationsAgile Delivery & Scrum LeadershipServe as Scrum Master for Agile teams delivering application, data, and modernization initiativesFacilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and RetrospectivesCoach teams on Agile principles, self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvementIdentify, track, and remove impediments to ensure consistent team velocity and deliveryPromote transparency, collaboration, and alignment across stakeholders and delivery teamsSupport reporting on sprint metrics, velocity, and overall delivery progress using Agile toolsRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile delivery teams8+ years facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing sprint executionProven ability to identify and remove delivery impedimentsStrong experience coaching Agile teams on best practices and performance improvementExperience with Agile lifecycle management tools such as JiraAbility to track and report on sprint metrics, velocity, and team performanceExperience working in large-scale or enterprise IT environmentsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting state or government technology projectsScrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, or equivalentWork Environment & ExpectationsThis position operates within a large-scale, enterprise IT environment supporting critical data and application initiatives.
