StorekeeperLocation: Billings, MTWage: $30.54 hourlyPosition Overview:The Western Sugar Cooperative has a challenging opportunity for a Storekeeper. This position is responsible leading the Billings storeroom, to ensure all functions are being performed in a timely accurate manner. This position plays a key role in the proper care and maintenance of all direct order, stock orders, including receiving, issuing and managing inventory. Customer service is critical in this position, being able to take care of the needs of production and maintenance to avoid any production down time.Essential Functions:Live our Core Values of: Being a Safety Leader, Integrity, Openness & Trust, Team Work, Entrepreneurship, and Social ResponsibilityBe a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadershipLeads storeroom staffMaster the procure to pay process to ensure tasks are completed in a timely mannerCoordinate with Purchasing agent and preferred suppliers to confirm we are getting the best product for the best priceMake sure orders are placed on time to preferred suppliers or get competitive quotes when necessaryTrack and control open purchase orders, ensuring delivery dates are metPrepare and update all required paperwork for vendor products and ensure accuracy in all inventories and resolve any issues in sameMonitor all procurement requests of facilities and ensure accuracy in all inbound inventory and maintain records for sameMonitor and ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records of all storeroom locations.Work with plant personnel and AP to verify receipt of items and resolves shipments in error with suppliersPerform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracyWork with maintenance to make sure we have the correct items in inventory, or on orderKeeps information accessible by sorting and filing documentsWork with Safety and PPE supplier to run vending program so we do not run out and avoid discrepanciesManage stock levels with preferred suppliersSkill & Experience Requirements:Friendly, results oriented, and collaborativeHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredStoreroom experienced requiredExcellent computer competence (outlook, word, powerpoint, excel, SAP,)Must be able to handle several priorities at one timeStrong customer focus mind-setSolid leadership and influencing skillsMust be able to qualify and operate a forkliftOrganized and detail orientedGood math skillsWorking Relationship:Reports to Maintenance ManagerEmployment Requirements:Must be 18 years old or olderLeadership skills:Solid leadership and influencing skillsTravel Requirements, if any (please indicate percentage): NonePosition Type: Union - Status: Hourly - Wages: $30.54 - Location: Billings, MTBenefits: Medical, Vision, STD, LTD, 401K, Vacation, Allowance Time, and Holidays
