SME - Information Technology Project Manager
Job DescriptionECS is seeking a SME - Information Technology Project Manager to work in our O’Fallon, IL office.The candidate possesses and applies extensive knowledge of planning, initiating, and managing information technology (IT) projects. Leads and guides the work of technical staff. Collaborates directly with customers. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure milestones, schedule, deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to leadership. Maintains metrics on project performance. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Supports CMMI processes and EVM tasks and reports status, issues, risks, and metrics. May supervise others.Salary Range: $145,000 - $190,000General Description Of BenefitsRequired SkillsFamiliar knowledge of GATES operations, architecture, and mission within the USTRANSCOM environmentProven experience managing large-scale DoW IT programs supporting logistics, transportation, or command & control systemsDeep understanding of DoW cybersecurity frameworks including DISA STIG complianceDemonstrated leadership managing cross-functional IT teams, including developers, systems administrators, cybersecurity, and network engineersExperience with system lifecycle management (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, sustainment) in a DoW environmentProven ability to develop and deliver executive-level briefings to senior military and civilian leadershipKnowledge/Experience with Java, Linux, Oracle RDBMS, & AWSDesired SkillsStrong understanding of network architecture, cybersecurity principles and access control mechanismsExcellent communications skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into mission impactSecurity+ certification or ability to obtain/maintainActive secret clearance
